Meet Attorney
Lynn Freeman.
Lynn is an accomplished legal writer and criminal defense attorney who works hard and fights for her clients. She earned her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and built her career on the other side of the courtroom before dedicating her practice to defense.
At the California Attorney General's Office, Lynn handled criminal appeals and writs — researching records, briefing complex issues, and arguing before appellate courts. She also served with the Board of Parole Hearings, giving her a rare, inside understanding of how sentences, records, and post-conviction relief actually work in practice.
Today, roughly half of her practice is legal writing — appeals, writs, motions, and post-conviction petitions — the kind of detail-driven work that quietly changes outcomes. The other half is trial-level criminal defense, where that same discipline shows up in every hearing. Clients describe her as knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely invested in the families she serves.
Outcomes That Move Lives Forward.
Prior results do not guarantee similar outcomes. Every case turns on its own facts.
Suppression motion challenged the search; the felony exposure was cut down and the client avoided custody.
Detailed record review and witness inconsistencies drove a resolution far below the original filing.
Retained ethanol experts to attack chemical-test reliability and rising blood-alcohol assumptions.
Briefed and won diversion under PC 1001.36 — treatment instead of a strike conviction.
Motion practice and mitigation packet reframed the case and avoided the prosecution's initial offer.
Early investigation and written advocacy resolved the matter without a felony conviction on the record.

In Their Own Words.
I can't thank my attorney Lynn enough. Whenever she walks in the court room, you can tell she means business. From the very beginning, she was knowledgeable, honest, and always kept me informed.
Lynn Freeman is absolutely the best. She helped me tremendously — pays attention to detail and does everything she can to get the best deal and outcome for her clients.
She is a wonderful woman. She helped my son with his case and really cared about the whole family, not the money. I would recommend her anytime.
Lynn pays attention to every detail relevant to the case. The motions she wrote impacted my outcome — I had a more than favorable long-term result and am now able to move forward.
